Introducing the “Feed the Bees” campaign from Bee’s Wrap in collaboration with Whole Foods Market
Vermont, April 5, 2024 – Bees Wrap, the company known for its eco-food wrap is thrilled to share the news of their “Feed the Bees” campaign, in collaboration, with Whole Foods Market. This exciting collaberatioon will be rolled out across Whole Foods Market stores nationwide starting in Vermont throughout the month of April 2024. The grand finale will take place on Monday, May 20 2024 with the celebration of World Bee Day.
To address the challenges faced by honeybee populations and raise awareness, about the issues of waste and global warming Bees Wrap and Whole Foods Market have joined forces to make a real impact.
Here’s how it works; Throughout this month’s campaign leading up to World Bee Day customers who visit Whole Foods Market stores will have the opportunity to make a difference in preserving honeybee habitats and reducing waste. Customers are encouraged to bring their plastic waste, such, as single-use food bags to the store. As a thank you for their contribution, they will receive a plant that they can nurture and use to create their bee-friendly garden at home. Participants are encouraged to showcase their plant growth by sharing pictures of their home plants, on social media platforms. They can use the hashtags #feedthebees and #worldbeeday to spread awareness, about taking care of the environment.
Sarah Kaeck, founder of Bees Wrap shared her excitement for this initiative by saying, “The ‘Feed the Bees’ campaign represents our commitment, to sustainability and conservation. By partnering with Whole Foods Market we hope to inspire people to take action and create a world for generations.”
Jason Buechel, the CEO of Whole Foods Market also chimed in stating, “Whole Foods Market is fully dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly practices. This campaign perfectly aligns with our mission. We’re thrilled to collaborate with Bees Wrap to make an impact on honeybee populations and reduce waste.”
Sonya Gafsi Obelisk, the Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer at Whole Foods Market expressed her support for the campaign; “We firmly believe in the power of action. ‘Feed the Bees serves as an example of how businesses and individuals can join forces to address environmental issues.”
During the month of May Bees Wrap will further contribute by donating 10% of all wrap sales, towards supporting causes associated with the objectives of this campaign.
